Graduates of the School of Professional & Continuing Studies graduate program in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies have received promotions in local schools, school divisions, government agencies and local businesses.

The school’s Educational Leadership & Policy Studies (ELPS) graduate program offers a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree for those who have not yet earned a graduate degree, and a post-master’s Graduate Certificate for those who have already earned a master’s degree. Coursework in the program is designed for professional educators seeking an administration/supervision endorsement for leading a public school in Virginia along with those who seek positions of leadership in nonpublic schools and other organizations.

Successful completion of the ELPS program (M.Ed. or graduate certificate) satisfies Virginia’s licensure endorsement requirement for an approved program in administration and supervision from a regionally accredited university, including the 320 hour internship.

The following ELPS graduates recently received promotions or have been appointed to new positions.

The University and the ELPS program extend hearty congratulations for these achievements. If you or someone you know is an ELPS graduate who has recently earned a promotion or been appointed to a new position, please complete the “Submit Your News” form near the bottom of the Graduate Education eNewsletter.

Note: The “GC” abbreviation above is used by the University of Richmond to denote graduates of SPCS graduate programs (Graduate Continuing Studies). It applies to both M.Ed. and Graduate Certificate earners.
