Marilyn Durham, GC'20, highlighted in 'Powhatan Today' for recent promotion

Lt. Marilyn Durham, GC’20, was featured in Powhatan Today for her recent promotion to head of the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office’s criminal investigations, becoming the highest ranking female deputy in the office’s history.

The article, Lt. Marilyn Durham makes history in Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office, highlights Durham’s pride at the accomplishment, which makes her the fifth highest ranking officer in the agency. She earned the promotion in September.

In her supervisory position, Durham oversees four detectives in the office.

Durham earned a Master of Human Resource Management through SPCS, graduating in December 2019. December graduates are considered members of the following May’s graduating class.
