SPCS degree program fall scholarship application deadline is June 1

May 24, 2021

The fall deadline for degree-seeking students to apply for SPCS scholarship funds is Tuesday, June 1. Newly admitted and continuing students alike are eligible to apply.

New fall applicants may submit a scholarship application prior to submitting an application by the July 15 degree program application deadline, but applicants must be accepted and enrolled before funds are awarded.

The University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies awarded over $150,000 in scholarship funds to degree-seeking students during the 2020-21 academic year, and expects to award similar amounts in the upcoming year.

Recent fundraising efforts, including the previous successful UR Here Giving Days, have enabled SPCS to increase the number and amount of awards. SPCS scholarships are largely funded by interest earned from endowed scholarships supplemented by SPCS annual fund dollars.

Additionally, the Osher Reentry Scholarship is available to bachelor’s degree students and applicants who’ve experienced a substantial interruption (5 cumulative years or more) since earning a high school diploma or GED. Indicate your interest in this scholarship on the scholarship application form.
