SPCS alums named as principal, assistant principal at Tomahawk Creek Middle

Rebecca Thompson, GC’14, has been promoted to principal at Tomahawk Middle School in Chesterfield County Public Schools, where another SPCS alum, Charlee Breeden, GC’18, has been named associate principal.

Thompson earned a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies (ELPS) in 2014 at SPCS, while Breeden earned a post-master’s Graduate Certificate in ELPS in 2018. Each was named to their current position earlier this year.

The SPCS ELPS program equips current educators to earn administration/supervision endorsement for leading a public school in Virginia. We’re proud that many of our graduates lead schools in the Richmond region.
