Patrick Jinks, C'10, gives keynote address at SC Thrive conference

Patrick Jinks, C’10, a 2010 graduate of the SPCS Weekend College program in Danville, now a leadership and strategy coach, gave the keynote address at the 2021 SC Thrive annual training conference.

Jinks earned a bachelor of liberal arts degree with a major in interdisciplinary studies through SPCS in the Danville Weekend College program in 2010. He went on to earn a MBA at Averett University in 2014 and a PhD at Columbia International University in 2021.

As a leadership and strategy coach, Jinks works to help nonprofit leaders and their boards achieve clarity, simplicity, and alignment in their work. He is president and certified leadership coach at The Jinks Perspective, a firm that provides critical services for nonprofit organizations in planning & design, leadership coaching and training.

SC Thrive is a nonprofit organization that seeks to lead South Carolinians to stability by providing innovative and efficient access to quality of life resources, including food security, healthcare resources, and financial wellness through work supports.

The SPCS Weekend College program was a two-year degree-completion program with classes held Friday evenings and Saturdays. It’s recently been updated as the SPCS Interdisciplinary Studies Online (IDST Online) program, a two-year online degree-completion program that earns a bachelor of arts in liberal arts degree with a major in interdisciplinary studies.
