Angela Foss, GC'18, serves as New Kent school leader

Angela Foss, GC’18, is serving as assistant principal at New Kent Middle School. Foss earned a graduate certificate in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies (ELPS) through SPCS in 2018.

Kate Cassada, assistant chair of graduate education, announced Foss’ appointment, reflecting that Angela “brings a wealth of experience in adolescent education” to New Kent County Public Schools.

“Watch her lead!” Cassada continued. “The impact of ELPS graduates across Central Virginia is energizing. Terrific school, terrific rising school leader.

SPCS offers master’s degree and graduate certificate in ELPS that prepares educators to take on leadership roles in schools, from team leads and program specialists to assistant principals and principals.
