U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges 2016” guide has ranked University of Richmond as the 23rd “Best Value” among national liberal arts colleges. Overall, Richmond ranked 32nd on the National Liberal Arts College ranking.

Richmond is among only 1 percent of colleges and universities offering both need-blind admission – it does not consider an applicant’s ability to pay when making admission decisions – and pledging to meet 100 percent of the demonstrated financial need of admitted students.

“The University of Richmond’s recognition year after year as one of the best liberal arts schools in the nation reflects the exceptional strength of our faculty and students,” said Stephanie Dupaul, vice president for Enrollment Management. “Through our commitment to meeting the full demonstrated need of our students, we provide deep and rich educational experiences to students from all backgrounds. Richmond students benefit from personal relationships with faculty, strong retention and graduation rates, and pathways to personal and professional success.”

The university consistently ranks as a top-tier liberal arts college and a best value by The Princeton Review, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, SmartMoney magazine, Forbes.com and other leading college guides.
