UR Ranks #53 on Wall Street Journal's List of Top Colleges; Earns High Marks for Being the Right Choice and Inspiring Students

The University of Richmond is ranked #53 out of nearly 1,000 colleges across the nation in the latest The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings. UR was ranked #61 last year.

Richmond was the highest-ranked private college and the second-highest-ranked college overall in Virginia.

The WSJ/THE rankings focus on graduate success and student learning, factoring in academic resources, graduate outcomes, student engagement, and campus diversity.

The ranking includes data from a student survey that captures the voices of more than 200,000 current U.S. students across all ranked colleges.

According to the data published on The Wall Street Journal’s website, University of Richmond survey results, which were on a scale of zero to 10, with 10 representing strongest agreement, included:
