Investment Firm, Real Estate Executives, Accomplished Board Directors in Lineup for 2019 Robins Executive Speaker Series

The University of Richmond Robins School of Business’ Executive Speaker Series invites national and international business leaders to give keynote speeches on campus.

Spring 2019 program speakers include:

Feb. 28, Lauren Dillard, Managing Director, The Carlyle Group, and Marc Holliday, CEO, SL Green

Dillard, a 1998 alum, is managing director and head of Carlyle’s Investment Solutions Group, one of the world’s largest and most successful investment firms with $201 billion of assets. She held the previous position of head of the global tax department and a member of the firm’s transaction team where she had a significant role in transactions, including the firm’s initial public offering.

Holliday is CEO of the realty group and a member of the company’s board of directions. Under his leadership, SL Green has grown to be New York City’s largest owner of commercial office properties and the dominant landlord in Midtown Manhattan.

March 20, Women on Boards Panel

This panel event explores how women become involved on corporate boards. Panelists include Melanie Healey, board member of Verizon and a graduate of the Robins School of Business; Candy Duncan, board member of Discover Financial Services, Teleflex, and FTD; and Blythe McGarvie, board member of Apple Hospitality REIT.

All lectures take place at 6 p.m. in Robins School of Business, Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium. Events are free and open to the public, but registration is required. A reception will follow. This series is funded in part by a grant given by the Manville Foundation for Private Enterprise.

Speakers will be available for questions immediately after the lecture.

Speakers also participate in roundtable discussions with students during their visit to campus.
