University of Richmond Named a 2019 'Best College Value' by Kiplinger's Personal Finance

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND ─ The University of Richmond has again been named to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s list of the 400 Best College Values for 2019.

Richmond also earned the #26 spot on the magazine’s list of 100 best values in private liberal arts colleges. Richmond is need-blind in admission and meets 100 percent of demonstrated need. The university has awarded some type of aid to 68% of its students. The average need-based award is $49,420.

Introduced in 1998, the rankings combine public schools, private universities, and private liberal arts colleges into a single, comprehensive list. Kiplinger also ranks the best values in each category. The analysis is based on objective measurements of academic quality and affordability.
