Faculty, staff and student artists at the University of Richmond have found a way to use their creativity to help with relief efforts in Haiti.

They have donated artwork – including paintings, photography, screen prints, ceramics, jewelry, pottery and other items – for a silent auction Feb. 12 from 3:30 – 5 p.m. in the Modlin Center for the Arts, Booth Lobby. Money raised will be donated to Doctors Without Borders to help people affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

Bidders do not have to be present at 5 p.m. The Department of Art and Art History will contact each winning bidder, who can then make arrangements to pay for and pick up items.
