Matt Vandini, ’17, of Walpole, Mass., is working as a public relations intern at Infamous PR in Los Angeles, through the University of Richmond’s Summer Fellowship (URSF) program.
The University of Richmond will host a series of events throughout the fall semester to commemorate two important anniversaries in recent European history. The series, “20 Years After Srebrenica: Bosnia and Herzegovina Today,” will explore the past and current state of Bosnian society. The scheduled events include lectures, films screenings, a poetry reading and a photography exhibition, all exploring the Srebrenica Massacre and Dayton Peace Accords and the state of culture and education in Bosnia today.
Charlett J. Stevenson, ’16, of Darien, Conn., is interning this summer with real estate agent Ryan Serhant, one of the stars of Bravo’s show “Million Dollar Listing New York.” Stevenson is working for The Serhant Team, which sells residential real estate in New York City as part of Nestseeker International.
University of Richmond is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features the school in the new 2016 edition of its annual college guide.
The second quarter 2015 CEO Economic Outlook survey by the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business and the Virginia Council of CEOs shows positive views prevailing among chief executives in central Virginia with nearly three-quarters of respondents expecting sales to increase over the next six months. Only 5.8 percent expect sales to decrease.
