David Kitchen

David Kitchen, a geology professor and an associate dean in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies, is a volcanologist and geologist with expertise in climate change, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. He is the author of Global Climate Change: Turning Knowledge into Action and was awarded a NASA education award to help develop a new course in global climate change. Kitchen’s research is international in scope, focusing on energy use and combating climate change.
