An article written by leadership studies professor Donelson R. Forsyth is being recognized as a “citation classic” by the Journal of Business Ethics.

The article, “Judging the Morality of Business Practices: The Influence of Personal Moral Philosophies,” was published in 1992 and will be included in a 30th anniversary publication as one of the 33 most cited articles in the journal’s history. The journal has published 100 volumes and nearly 5,000 articles.

The collection is scheduled for publication in early 2012.

Forsyth is a social psychologist in the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies and the Colonel Leo K. & Gaylee Thorsness Endowed Chair in Ethical Leadership. His research focuses on group dynamics, social behavior and the psychology of morality.
