Peart to moderate LEAD VIRGINIA's "Conversations with Leaders: Women in Leadership" program

Sandra J. Peart, dean of the University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies, will moderate LEAD VIRGINIA’s “Conversations with Leaders: Women in Leadership” program March 20 at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond.

The program will feature the leadership journeys of a Virginia Supreme Court justice, a brigadier general who is assistant adjutant general-Army for the Virginia National Guard, the managing partner and principal of a communications firm based in the South, and the CEO of a planning and consulting company based in Richmond.

Speakers are Justice Cleo Powell, Brig. Gen. Janice Igou, Caryn Foster Durham and Marilyn West.

The “Conversations with Leaders” program is an opportunity for alumni of LEAD VIRGINIA to meet with thought leaders and discuss topics of importance to Virginia, according to the organization’s website. The nonprofit organization educates leaders about opportunities, challenges and differences across the commonwealth.

Peart is the fourth dean of the Jepson School and a national leader in the field of economics. She joined LEAD VIRGINIA’s board of directors in 2009.
