Adjunct professor named assistant superintendent of instruction for Henrico County Public Schools

Dr. Dave Myers, adjunct assistant professor of education for the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, has been named assistant superintendent of secondary education for Henrico County Public Schools.

Myers has served as the school division’s director of secondary education.  In his new role, Myers becomes a member of the Division Leadership Team and assumes responsibility for 21 middle and high schools, two technical centers, as well as a dedicated team of educational specialists. His new appointment took effect July 1.

Myers teaches in the School’s graduate programs in educational leadership and policy studies.
