Prof. Christine Contrada to participate in international conferences

Dr. Christine Contrada, assistant professor of liberal arts at the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies, will present two papers at international conferences during the spring 2015 semester.

Contrada will serve on a discussion panel titled Professional Career Paths Beyond the Classroom at the Renaissance Society of America annual meeting in Berlin, Germany, held March 26-April 1, 2015.

Contrada will present a conference paper titled “Dalle Stelle alle Stalle: Constructing the illusion of Power in Early Modern Mantua” during a panel titled Entwined Worlds: Equine Ethnography and Ethologies at the annual conference for the Association of Social Anthropologists of the UK and Commonwealth in Exeter, England, on April 16, 2015.
