SPCS earns gold & silver awards for print & online materials in 2016 UPCEA Marketing Awards

The University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies has earned three gold awards and one silver award in the 2016 UPCEA Marketing Awards for its marketing materials and design.

The University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) recognizes excellence in marketing among its member institutions with the annual UPCEA Marketing Awards. Each year’s winning entries are shared and recognized at an awards ceremony during the annual UPCEA Marketing and Enrollment Management Seminar (MEMS). This year’s award recipients will be celebrated at the 25th Annual UPCEA MEMS held in West Palm Beach, Florida, November 8-10. All award-winning entries will be on display at the event as inspiration for other institutions and colleagues to submit nominations.

Marketing Awards may be earned in 8 divisions and 27 different categories. SPCS submitted four nominations in four different categories, earning a gold or silver award for each nomination submitted. The following marketing materials earned awards.

The University of Richmond, through the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, is long-time UPCEA member. Dean Emeritus Jim Narduzzi served as a past conference chair and recently contributed an essay with SPCS Marketing Director James Campbell to the organization’s 100th anniversary volume, Centennial Conversations: Essential Essays in Professional, Continuing and Online Education.

Representatives from the SPCS Marketing Team will attend the 2016 UPCEA MEMS to receive these awards in person during the awards ceremony. In addition, all Gold winners will be eligible to compete for Division winner awards, and Division winners will be eligible for to complete for an overall Best in Show award. Both Division winners and the Best in Show winner will be announced at the awards ceremomy.
