The Best Maps of 2016: "Mapping Inequality"

Mapping Inequality: Redlining in New Deal America, a production of the Digital Scholarship Lab in Boatwright Library, was named as one of the best maps of 2016 by National Geographic. "Mapping Inequality" is an interactive database that allows anyone to search hundreds of maps and documents that contributed to housing discrimination beginning in the 1930s.
