Survey of local business leaders shows greater optimism (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

Optimism among local business executives surged to a six-year high in a recent survey conducted by the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business and the Virginia Council of CEOs.

About 62 percent of the chief executive officers in central Virginia who participated in the December survey said they expect hiring to improve in the next six months. That was up from 50 percent who expected an increase in the third quarter of 2016.
