ELPS student earns inaugural VACTE scholarship for graduate students in advanced programs

Cynthia Patey, a student in the Educational Leadership & Policy Studies (ELPS) program, has been awarded the first ever VACTE scholarship for graduate students in Advanced Programs. She was honored at the VACTE spring meeting in Williamsburg.

The Virginia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (VACTE) is comprised of 39 institutions of higher education in Virginia that prepare teachers and other school professionals for work in PreK-12 classrooms in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Nation. VACTE is the state affiliate of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE).
