Dozens of the newest cars and SUVs displayed this weekend at the Virginia International Auto Show (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

You can get a feel for what it’s like to go for a spin in a self-driving vehicle and also see some of the newest rides on the road at this weekend’s 2018 Virginia International Auto Show.

The show, which runs Friday through Sunday at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, will feature nearly 300 late-model and antique vehicles — everything from a customized, 500 horsepower 1975 AMC Matador insured for more than $200,000, to the newest kid on the block, a 2019 Volvo XC40 T5 crossover with a semiautonomous driving system and adaptive cruise control.
