Richmond Magazine readers name SPCS among top places to learn a new skill

August 29, 2019

The University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies ranks #3 in the category “Best Place for Adults to Learn a New Skill” in Richmond Magazine’s annual Best & Worst 2019 readers’ survey.

The School of Professional & Continuing Studies joins the Visual Arts Center of Richmond (#1) and Reynolds Community College and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (tied at #2) as the top places for adults to learn a new skill in Richmond.

The category “Best Place for Adults to Learn a New Skill” is part of the larger grouping of Community Classes in the Best & Worst 2019 survey. Other category groupings in the survey include The Nature of RVA, News & Media, Food & Drink, Culture, and Shopping Services.

This is the 32nd year Richmond Magazine has asked its readers to weigh in on Richmond’s best and worst. Results were collected during the spring using an online ballot, then tallied, vetted and researched before being announced.
