Griffin Trau, ’17 and G’18, senior Spider football kicker, has been selected for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for the 2019-20 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Trau has been awarded his position in the Czech Republic with an English teaching assistantship.
The 2019 schedule of University of Richmond Summer School classes is now available for viewing online. Bannerweb registration for continuing students opens at 9 a.m. on March 19, and non-UR students may now apply.
Nominations from current SPCS students are now being accepted for two Commencement awards: the Jean H. Proffitt Student Service Award and the Itzkowitz Family Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Award.
Ellen Osborne, GC’18, has received the award for Best Master’s Paper at the Leading Change conference in Harrisonburg, Va.
Dr. Hanel joined the SPCS staff as Accreditation and Assessment Specialist in January and will work with organizations like the CAEP, SACSCOC and the VDOE to ensure UR program accreditation, as well as with school faculty to optimize program quality.
