Immigrant activist Rinku Sen to speak on race, immigration and social justice Feb. 22

Rinku Sen, president and executive director of the Applied Research Center and pubisher of Colorlines.com, will discuss “Renewing America: Race, Immigration and Economic Justice in the 21st Century” Feb. 22, 7 p.m., at the University of Richmond, Weinstein Hall, Brown-Alley Room. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Sen will examine projects to unify immigrants and native-born Americans in building a new economy, combining both personal history and political analysis with lessons from the field.
