Richmond and VCU students collaborate to create Digital America website to showcase Millenials' perspectives

November 5, 2013

University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University students have collaborated to publish essays, artwork and short films about digital culture in an online journal, Digital America.

“The journal will show the unique perspective that Millenials − those born between the 1980s and the early 2000s − have on the role of digitization in our culture and around the world,” said Meghan Rosatelli, adjunct professor at Richmond and director of the Digital America project.  Submissions vary from critical essays to group projects and creative work showcasing digital culture and American life.

Digital America’s diverse group of columnists includes undergraduates, graduate students and recent college graduates, as well as some with doctoral degrees.

The Digital America website went live on Oct. 21.
