Former Google CFO to be Robins Executive Speaker Series guest

The University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business will welcome Patrick Pichette, former senior vice president and chief financial officer of Google, as a Robins Executive Speaker Series guest on Oct. 1, 6-7 p.m., in Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium. Pichette will share insights from his career at the global technology company.

During his time at Google, the firm rapidly grew its market capitalization to nearly half a trillion dollars. Pichette will discuss Google's phenomenal growth, its lines of business, Googleplex and the company's culture.

He will also talk about his personal career in the technology industry and the changes he has seen. Pichette previously worked at Bell Canada, the country’s largest telecommunications firm, and McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm.

Pichette, a Rhodes Scholar, earned a master’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics from Pembroke College, Oxford, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Université du Québec à Montréal. He serves as a director of the Trudeau Foundation and on the board of directors of Bombardier Inc. in Canada. He is a recipient of the Order of Québec.
