UR named 2017 'Best College Value' by Kiplinger's Personal Finance

University of Richmond has been named to “Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s” list of the Top 300 Best College Values of 2017.

Richmond earned the #17 spot on the magazine’s list of 100 best values in private liberal arts colleges. UR ranked #31 in the overall category.  

Introduced in 1998, these rankings highlight public schools, private universities and private liberal arts colleges that combine outstanding academics with affordable cost.

Richmond remains among a small number of colleges and universities committed to need-blind admission. It does not consider ability to pay when making admission decisions and meets 100 percent of each student’s demonstrated financial need.

The complete rankings are now available online and will appear in print in the February 2017 issue of “Kiplinger’s Personal Finance,” on newsstands Jan. 3, 2017.
