Editor's Note: This event has been cancelled. In a national response to COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control has recommended that throughout the United States any gathering consisting of 50 people or more in the next eight weeks be cancelled or postponed.

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND — The best-selling author of The Fuzzy and the Techie will speak March 18 at the University of Richmond.

Scott Hartley, who also is the managing partner of Two Culture Capital, is the final speaker in the University of Richmond Robins School of Business’ Executive Speaker Series, which was created to enhance connections between the students, the school, and the community.

Hartley will share his experience working in various fields — from Silicon Valley to the White House as a Presidential Innovation Fellow — and discuss building bridges between the liberal arts and business communities.

Hartley’s talk is at 6 p.m. March 18 with a reception to follow at 7 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required by March 10.
