Celebrating Faculty Hires & Promotions
Richmond Law is proud to welcome two new professors to our faculty for Fall 2019, and to celebrate the promotion of two exceptional scholars.
Hires
Prof. Rebecca Crootof will join the Richmond Law faculty as Assistant Professor of Law after serving as the Executive Director of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School. An expert in international law as well as the intersection of technology and the law, Prof. Crootof earned her Ph.D. in law and her J.D. from Yale, and her B.A. from Pomona College.

Prof. Da Lin, an expert in corporate law, will join the Richmond Law faculty as Assistant Professor of Law after serving as a Climenko Fellow and Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School. She earned her J.D. at Harvard Law, and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in applied mathematics at Harvard University.

Promotions
Professor Jud Campbell, a constitutional law scholar, was promoted to Associate Professor of Law. He joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2016.

Prof. Erin Collins, a criminal law scholar,was promoted to Associate Professor of Law. She joined the Richmond Law faculty in 2016.
