James Campbell, marketing & communications director, named associate chair of professional network

James Campbell, M.A., director of marketing and communications in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, has been named associate chair of the Marketing, Enrollment and Student Services network of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA).

UPCEA is the leading professional organization for continuing and professional higher education units and institutions. Its networks connect adult and continuing higher education professionals from around the nation for networking, professional development and communications.

Campbell is among several UPCEA members among the School’s staff; the School itself is an institutional member of the association.

Campbell has served in other UPCEA leadership roles during his tenure as the School’s marketing and communications director. Most recently, Campbell chaired the 2011 Annual UPCEA Marketing Seminar. He continues to serve on the seminar planning committee.

In his role as Associate Chair of the Marketing, Enrollment and Student Services network, Campbell will be responsible for coordinating the UPCEA Marketing Awards and Recognition of Excellence.

Campbell has accepted a one-year appointment as Associate Chair.
