The School of Professional & Continuing Studies has appointed Kate Cassada as associate dean for academic affairs and Gretchen Flynn Morris as associate dean for student affairs as Tom Shields steps down as associate dean.

The School of Professional & Continuing Studies recognized 103 graduating students and graduation candidates at its 61st Commencement Exercises on May 11, 2024.

Tom Shields, associate dean and associate professor of education in SPCS and associate professor of leadership studies in the Jepson School, served December 4-8 as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW).
