Law professor Corinna Lain is a prominent death penalty scholar and author of a book on the topic: Secrets of the Killing State. She’s been tracking executions for years and wrote the seminal article about Virginia’s abolition of the death penalty. Her areas of expertise include constitutional law, the death penalty, and criminal procedure.
