Institute on Philanthropy program coordinator presents at annual meeting of senior development organization

Kathy R. Laing, program coordinator of the Institute of Philanthropy at the University of Richmond, recently presented a session at the Annual Meeting of the SeniorCare Development Network in Lancaster, Pa.

Laing’s presentation was titled “Developing a Culture of Fundraising” and addressed the changing character of the fundraising profession as it relates to the continuing education needs and requirements of fundraising professionals.

The annual meeting was held Friday, November 16, 2012.

The Institute on Philanthropy is a program of the School of Professional and Continuing Studies.
