2014 Chevy Silverado may spur truck sales this year.
After strong new-car sales in December, some area dealers had feared a slump in January – which is not unusual.
But January sales in the four-county Dallas-Fort Worth area got the new year off to a rousing start, increasing 18.3 percent over the same month last year, according to The Freeman Metroplex Recap of new-vehicle sales.
