The sea of shiny metal that surrounds Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine got deeper and wider in the first cold months of the winter.
In 60 days, a new car and truck inventory that typically ranged between 2,000 and 2,500 vehicles swelled to 2,780.
“It’s hard to find enough space to park them all,” owner Tom Durant said.
And Classic, the top-selling Chevy dealership in the U.S., is hardly alone.
