International Film: Haute Cuisine

Haute Cuisine, a 2013 film from France, is the international film for the weekend of January 30 - February 1. Inspired by actual events, Haute Cuisine tells the story of renowned chef Hortense Laborie as she is unexpectedly appointed as the French president’s first female cook. After reluctantly accepting the appointment to the presidential palace, Hortense, with her strong character and spirit, is able to establish herself among a jealous, all-male kitchen crew.
