“What’s in it for me?”
It’s a question we all ask ourselves on a regular basis, whether we admit it or not. But it doesn’t sound very nice, and when I introduce it as an important business concept to my students at the University of Richmond, I am often met with expressions of skepticism. Even distaste.
The same thing happens when I tell them that past community service may end up getting them the jobs of their dreams...
