Senior Associate Dean Patricia J. Brown inducted into Epsilon Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa

November 20, 2015

The School of Professional and Continuing Studies’ senior associate dean and professor of continuing studies, Dr. Patricia J. Brown, was inducted in the University of Richmond’s Epsilon Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), a national service organization, during a private ceremony on October 28, 2015.

Brown was tapped for honorary membership as a University administrator in recognition of her extensive service to the University of Richmond, the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, and the Richmond community.

Brown was unable to attend the formal induction ceremony held November 6, 2015, due to a prior commitment. As a result, Lit Maxwell, business librarian and Epsilon Circle faculty advisor, led Brown in the member oath and inducted her into the organization on October 28.

In addition to the 51 Richmond undergraduate students inducted into the Epsilon Circle, the following faculty, staff, alumni and honoris causa inductees joined Brown as new members:

  • Jonathan Baliles, honoris causa and featured induction speaker
  • John Moreau, R’64, alumnus
  • Dr. Joseph Troncale, Associate Professor of Russian Literature and Visual Culture, faculty
  • Diana Vincelli, Director of Grant Support — Foundation Corporate and Government Relations, staff
