University of Richmond earns inaugural UGotClass International Award

December 23, 2015

The University of Richmond earned the inaugural UGotClass International Award for best website from the Learning Resource Network (LERN). The award was given for developing custom marketing web pages for LERN certificate programs in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies noncredit Think Again program.

The School partners with LERN, a leading association in continuing education and lifelong learning, to offer its UGotClass online courses and certificates. SPCS provides seamless online registration for LERN classes, making it convenient for students to find and register for classes directly in our Think Again schedule.

An example of this integration includes the eMarketing Certificates webpage, which bundles and highlights four LERN certificate programs: eMarketing Essentials, Inbound Marketing, Mobile Marketing and Video Marketing.

In turn, LERN’s UGotClass platform directs registrants who visit the SPCS LERN UGotClass online portal to register for courses through the SPCS Think Again schedule, providing another level of integration to prospective students and registrants.

As a result of close integration with LERN as a trusted partner and online class provider, the University of Richmond is LERN’s Top UGotClass Partner for 2015.

The UGotClass International Award was given at the 2015 LERN Annual Conference in New Orleans. The award was received by Tom Parfitt, C’14, Senior Program Manager for noncredit professional development program.
