International Film: Planet of Snail

The International Film Series features a 2012 Korean film, Planet of Snail, on February 19 and 21. Deaf and blind, the world is seemingly impossible for accomplished poet Young-Chan to navigate on his own. With just the use of his tactile senses, he must rely on his tiny wife, Soon-Ho, to connect to the world around him. Despite the challenges that arise, they form a very intimate and capable team. But, Soon-Ho knows that she must let Young-Chan brave the world on his own—his next great challenge and adventure.
