SPCS student government joins National Nontraditional Student Week celebration for SPCS Week 2016

The School of Professional and Continuing Studies Student Government Association are joining the school’s faculty, staff and administrators in celebrating SPCS students during SPCS Student Week, November 7-12, 2016. SPCS Student Week is celebrated as part of National Nontraditional Student Week.

SPCS SGA Football Game Tailgate

To kick off SPCS Student Week, students are invited to attend the SGA tailgate party before the Richmond Spiders take on in-state rival James Madison University. 

  • Saturday, November 5, 12:30-3pm
  • Parking Lot B6 (next to the Robins Center)
  • Game time is 3:30pm

Snacks for SPCS Students

On Monday-Thursday, November 7-10, snacks for SPCS students will be available at SPCS tables 5-7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Stern Plaza in front of Jepson Hall (weather permitting)
  • First floor of North Court in the Curriculum Materials Center, room 104

On Saturday, November 12, snacks for SPCS Weekend College students will be delivered during classes in Fredericksburg and Richmond.

Essay Contest

The SPCS Student Government Association is sponsoring an essay contest in celebration of Nontraditional Student Week. Details will be emailed to students on October 31, with essays due November 13. Three winning entries will receive $50 gift certificates to the UR Bookstore.

The weeklong event is sponsored by the SPCS Student Government Association.
