Think Again registration opens, debuts new online registration system

December 5, 2017

The December 5, 2017, launch of registration for Spring 2018 Think Again classes marks the debut of a new online registration system that features a streamlined registration process and simplified tracking of UR employees’ HR tuition remission benefits.

The change to a new registration system has been in the works for several years. After selecting Entrinsik as its new registration system provider, the School has worked to customize the system to meet the specific needs of the Richmond market.

The School has systematically incorporated the new system into staff workflows and customer experiences, beginning in late 2016. Registration for modules in the Beer Brewer Professional Certificate program have been recorded in the new system since fall 2016. In spring 2017, the Institute on Philanthropy introduced its registrants to the system, and in summer 2017, Partners in the Arts managed registrations for its 2017 Joan Oates Institute for Partners in the Arts through Entrinsik.

Fall 2017 saw the largest implementation of the system to date, lauching online registration for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute members. This was the Osher Institute’s first experience with an online registration system, and they saw thousands of successful registrations on the first day alone.

Spring 2018 marks the final implementation stage, shifting all Think Again classes into the new system.

With the opening of registration on December 5, customers will be required to create a new online account. That account will enable quick online registration for hundreds of Think Again classes. Current and new customers are invited to review instructions for setting up their accounts, and UR employees are invited to review instructions that will enable tracking and use of HR tuition remission benefits in the new system.
