Osher Institute releases its schedule for attending summer farmers markets

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute has released its schedule for attending summer 2018 farmers markets around the Richmond area.

The Osher Marketing Team, made up of volunteer members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Richmond, sets up a promotional booth at local farmers markets to share information about the Osher Institute and about the programs of the School of Professional & Continuing Studies.

For Summer 2018, members of the Osher Marketing Team will have a promotional booth at local farmers markets (and events) on the following dates:

April

• April 21: RVA Earth Day (in partnership with the SPCS booth)

June

• June 2: South of the James Market
• June 7: Great Big Green House Farmers Market
• June 16: Farmers Market @ St. Stephen’s

July

• July 12: Great Big Green House Farmers Market
• July 21: South of the James Market
• July 28: Farmers Market @ St. Stephen’s

August

• August 25: South of the James Market
• August 30: Great Big Green House Farmers Market

September

• September 1: Farmers Market @ St. Stephen’s

This summer marks the largest number of summer farmers markets that members of the Osher Marketing Team will attend.
