Sarah Abubaker, brewer program student, recognized for startup ReRunner

Sarah Abubaker, a student in the SPCS Beer Brewer Professional Certificate program, is featured in a Startup Spotlight in the Richmond Times-Dispatch for her startup company, ReRunner.

The spotlight, ReRunner Looks to Grow Business That’s All about “Letting Go” of Un-needed Purchases, describes why Abubaker started the business. In part, she enjoys the sense of accomplishment that comes “in letting go of things.” But she also capitalizes on the fact that, since just about anything can be delivered to one’s home, almost anything may also need to be returned from one’s home.

The article appeared in the September 29 edition of the paper. Abubaker serves on the University’s staff as director of advancement operations.
