Graduate education student leads Chesterfield County Schools Data Day

January 24, 2019

Cat Dillingham, Educational Leadership & Policy Studies (ELPS) certificate student and English as a Second Language (ESL) Support Specialist in Chesterfield County Public Schools’ Office of Equity and Student Support Services, led the division’s Data Day with her faculty and staff.

In the workshop, the group analyzed data trends on student performance, identified current areas of strength and struggle, and planned for targeted instruction to support their English as a Second Language students.

This work reflects the new knowledge gained in the ELPS EDUC 602U Data for Decision-Making class taught by Adjunct Assistant Professor Dr. Sarah Calveric, recently named Superintendent of Caroline County Public Schools.
