Dr. Sarah Calveric, adjunct associate professor of education and superintendent of Caroline County Public Schools, joined PK-12 leaders from across the state to share leadership lessons from the pandemic.

The sharing session, “Leadership Lessons from the Pandemic (and, Subsequently, Skills Superintendents are Looking for in Today’s School Leaders)”, was a discussion forum with members of Virginia Professors of Educational Leadership (VPEL), an organization of higher education faculty from across Virginia who are preparing future school leaders.

The purpose of the discussion forum was to keep higher education faculty informed as they hear from leaders who do and will employ leadership program graduates. Dr. Kate Cassada, associate professor of education, serves as president of VPEL.
