SPCS launches University-wide partnership with rvatech for students, faculty & staff

August 9, 2022

Through the efforts of the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, the University of Richmond is now a Chairman Partner of rvatech/, the Richmond Technology Council. Our partnership offers free access to networking events and early bird pricing to signature conferences and programs for all University faculty, staff and students.

Our partnership provides the following benefits to all current UR students and faculty (including adjuncts), regardless of school, and to all UR staff:

  • Early bird pricing for all employees and students to signature conferences and programs
  • Access to policy and government relations events as well as participation in the development of rvatech's annual legislative agenda
  • Ability to volunteer for committee and Board engagement
  • Free access for all employees and students to networking events

This partnership with rvatech/ enables the University of Richmond to engage the technology sector in the Richmond region, providing students, faculty and staff opportunities to network with industry leaders, to help shape technology policy and to help lead the organization.

“We’re excited that our new partnership with rvatech/ will allow our students and employees to raise their level of engagement in a variety of ways to positively impact their career growth and professional development,” said James Campbell, senior director of marketing and engagement at SPCS.
