Porcher Taylor, associate professor and chair of the Paralegal Studies program in the School of Continuing Studies, recently co-chaired a symposium titled “The Tiger Woods Effect: The Uncertain and Turbulent Future of Endorsement Deals, Morals Clauses, and Reverse-Morals Clauses” at Cordozo School of Law on March 4, 2010.

Taylor was the architect of the AELJ Annual Spring Symposium, itself based on Taylor's ground-breaking article on reverse-morals clauses in celebrity endorsement contracts.

The article will be published in the spring 2010 issue of Cordozo’s Arts & Entertainment Law Journal (AELJ). Taylor is the article’s lead co-writer.

Approximately 200 lawyers, business-people and law students from the New York area attended the symposium. Michael McCann, legal analyst for Sports Illustrated and associate professor of law at Vermont Law School, provided the symposium keynote address.
