Snagajob founder Shawn Boyer to be first 2013-14 C-Suite Conversation guest Sept. 11

Shawn Boyer, founder and chairman of the board of Snagajob, will participate in a C-Suite Conversation Sept. 11, 8 a.m., at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business. The program will be held in Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

C-Suite Conversations are unscripted interviews with regional business decision makers and leaders. The series highlights challenges and opportunities of high-level executives and provides insight about how they balance leadership obligations with the needs of stakeholders.

Richard Coughlan, senior associate dean of the Robins School and director of The Richmond MBA, will interview Boyer.

Snagajob is America’s largest hourly employment network for job seekers and employers. The U.S. Small Business Administration named Boyer its 2008 National Small Business Person of the Year. Snagajob has been named to both Fortune magazine’s “Great Places to Work – Best Small and Medium Workplaces” list and Deloitte’s “Technology Fast 500” for the past five years.

Boyer is the author of “Help Wanted & Help Found: The insiders’ guide to recruiting and hiring hourly workers.” He is a graduate of The College of William & Mary and the Washington and Lee School of Law, and he received an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
